Let's face it, some days when we look in the mirror, we feel we could give Denzel Washington or Jennifer Aniston a run for their money in the sexiness department.

Other days, we feel about as sexy as a bump on a log.

We all have some struggles with our self-image, but there are certain individuals who just seem to ooze sexiness and confidence.

When you turn on the television, numerous advertisements attempt to convince you that if you buy just the right car, clothing or cosmetics, you will be sexier.   

What a crock.

Deep down most of us know feeling really sexy doesn't come from the superficial, or anything we can buy. Sexiness is a state of mind. A way of being. 

Though sadly, we are often are too stressed, worried, and distracted by our hectic lives to feel as sexy as we should.  This is where going minimalist comes in.

 

THE SIMPLE TRUTH

 

More and more people everyday are realizing there are powerful advantages to going minimalist, or living more simply. In fact, people are finding feeling more sexy and attractive is a fringe benefit of simplifying their lives.

Well, how exactly can living a more minimalist lifestyle help you get your sexy back? Well, consider these important benefits of minimalist living: 

  • You are less stressed.  A key step to successful simple living is reducing the amount of needless clutter in your life to get more organized.  Many experts agree, reducing clutter not only clears your physical space, but also mentally makes you feel less burdened. 
  • Your mood brightens.  When you feel less stressed and bogged down by life, your mood naturally lifts. Very few things are sexier than a person with a genuine smile on their face and pep in their step!
  • You have more control of your time.  Simplifying your life includes eliminating a lot of time-draining, unimportant activities from your schedule. With this accomplished, you now have the option of spending more precious time strengthening and enjoying your relationship.
  • Your passions take center-stage.  By eliminating unimportant activities from your schedule, you are free to pursue interests which incite your passion. People who are fully engaged with their passions are sexy indeed!
  • You learn the little things are the most important. Watching a sunset with your lover. Holding hands in the park. Sharing that first cup of morning coffee. These moments are often taken for granted in the hustle-bustle busyness of modern life. However, when you choose to live more simply, you quickly realize it's often the still, quiet moments which help keep your connection to your lover the strongest.

Finally, remember feeling sexy truly begins with our state of mind. However, it's  difficult to feel our most attractive while being stressed over our careers, finances, and the countless obligations which monopolize our day.  

Resolve to take back control of your life, by removing most of the unimportant distractions which often leave you feeling overwhelmed - and very unsexy.
